Nice institute

It's okay, If you have potential in you, you can make the best out of it. It just depends on you. College have a free environment which I like about it. Means you can pursue your dreams along with education.

It's good institute if you want to study something technical while staying in Shimla. It's a nice place and environment. Course includes 6 subjects per semester and labs too. Exams are held in month of June and December.

Yeah, there are placements in the last year and various companies come. If you have potential you'll get placed. You can also go for open placements. No, there are no internship provided by college. You can do internship on your own in the vacations.

There are multiple events. UIIT is part of HPU so every HPU event is part of UIIT too. But UTKARSH is the UIIT fest which is held every year. And then there is another technical fest which is also held every year. Then there is sports meet. People interested in sports can participate in that.

The fee structure is feasible. It's not that expensive. It's around 48k per semester. I think which is quite affordable. But there is no fee wave for SC/ST. So the fee is 48k for all, unless you are HPU ward.

There is no such thing provided by our college. But you can find other tests which can help you with scholarship. But UIIT doesn't provide any scholarship. For loan you need to get the signature of the director and loan rates depends upon the banks only.

There are bunch of extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, drama etc. UIIT have labs too. But the sports room is still under construction. The condition of labs and cultural room is very good.

Yeah, seniors are very helpful. It is a very healthy environment here. Everyone is nice to each other. No ragging, no bullying. You should definitely check it out once. Everyone is nice to each other. It's a good environment.

First you have to give an exam then there will be merit list and then there is counselling. So you can get admission of you score above 100 in the entrance exam. The admission process is very simple.

Faculty is not regular, but they are very helpful if you need and help with any subject or topic they won't say no to help you. All teachers and we'll qualified and have the potential to help you with your doubts.
