Remarks

Since it is a professional college. We have uniform dress. I find it as positive. So that everyone has an equality. Which is a positive side. Infrastructure needed more renovation at that time. College was.very active when flood affected chenganur. It was the faculty andthe students are very active in flood relief services and activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum focuses on the basics and core part of the subjects. Covers most of the area of computer science. Which is also covers practical or job oriented coding technics and most of the programming languages. Exam is conducted in semester wise manner. There were 8 semesters in total. 1st and 2nd semester exam is conducted at the end of the first year of course. And rest of the semester exams conducted half yearly

Placement Experience

4

There were many companies including Tata consultancy services, CTS, MIND TREE, etc approached college for placement. Students also have opportunity to take part in job fest conducted on other colleges. There were no internship provided when I was in college.

College Events

2

IEEE is very active in our college, and many tech fest and game fest where conducted under IEEE. ART Fest, Sports day, Tiger 5 football tournament between different trades, inter college football tournaments. Nss cleaning day, bhoomithra Sena environment day celebration are also part of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and college strictly follows the government rules. There were 3 types of admission categories. Merit seat, management qouta and NRI qouta. Fee structure was set with respect to the government regulations.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offered the all scholarships which comes under the government rules, which includes scholarship for the SC/ST from the state government and merit scholarship from Central government for students who have scored 80% and above in plus two class

Campus Life

4

Sports and arts are part of the college extracurricular activities. All labs are well equipped with the proper machines, computer system and softwares, Sportsday and arts day are very active in that time. Also there were no policy's or political party inside campus at that time.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel infrastructure was good and maintaied properly and it was near by the college. However the total capacity of the hostel building was not enough compared to the number of students who are far away from the college. I used to stay as paying guest in a nearby house.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not much active. But batch wise alumni meeting is there. Senior students are very friendly most of the time especially at the time of project. They give suggestion for the projects like What to do or what not to do.

Admission

I passed the entrance exam. After that I applied for the admission with my priority options for college and course. I got admission on college of engineering chenganur. There was a face to face interview with college principal on the day of admission

Faculty

5

Good faculty most of the teachers/professors have more than 5 years of experience in teaching. Physics teacher was a gold medalist. Many faculty of the college have PhD in their subject. Which shows their kowledge and expertise in the field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
