Remarks

Our college is accredited by NAAC with A grade. Our college taught us about values of friendship and connections. This is place in which each student study about what is life and what should be their life tomorrow.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Good curriculum and exams are in semester vise. Our curriculum are going well. There is two centralized internal exams and other internal tests like assignments, seminars etc. Semester exams are decided by MG university kottayam.

Placement Experience

2.5

Now there is an active placement cell and eligible students get stipends. Placement cell guides students to choose the right way in their future.About stipends I know only about e-grants for sc & st students.

College Events

3.5

History congress, Snehatheeram, I know only about these events.History congress is the huge event in which the students and faculties of every institutions and universities which have history departments come together and discuss. Snehatheeram is the largest alumini get together conducted in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure because this is an aided college. There is self financing courses in which during admission we may give donations that starts at rupees 85000 and above. For self finance courses semester fees are about 10000.

Fees and Financial Aid

KPCR is the scholarship offered by our college for the students whose annual income is less one lakh. This helps those students during the time of fees remittance they should pay a very little amount.

Campus Life

3.5

There is council for hockey and football. The councils for hockey and football recruit student players and train them for the higher level of competitions. For hockey the most MG university players are from our college. For football we were intercollegiate champions.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are pretty good. Food is also good. In every institutions hostels may not be good enough but in our college men's hostel is pretty good because there is single room for each students so that they get their own privacy. Food menu and food is very good.

Alumni/Alumna

There is always good connection between alumnies. There was an event called "Snehatheeram" which was the largest alumni get together conducted in our college. In this get together students of 70's had participated.

Admission

I got admission by mgu cap allotment. After allotment there is an admission process in college in which students who got allotment must come and undergo admission.First student should meet the faculties of which department he got admission and they take an interview about his mark and interests.

Faculty

5

Highly qualified faculties in every department. Each faculties have their own remarks in our college between students and parents. In each department there must be atleast two faculties have PhD.Some faculties got awards on film reviews and in literature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
