Remarks

No positive and negative remarks. It is a college like atbors but ruural trasportation option is not so good. Peple usauall depend on parellel service by jeeps. Bus services are not fo enough. College have their own buses.

All affiliated to University of calicut. Curriculum by calicut University. Examination also by calicut. Every year have one public exam. Final exam is on last year. This is a 3 year course with strength of 40 students.

Nri scholership. Ypu can apply for nri scholer ship. And you can also aply for study loan or educational loan for any nationalised bank with intrest rate of 12-14 percent.

Campus Life

They have sports stidy tour arts day social work NSS and many more. It is good in this college. They have many extara curricular activities. They suppprt football. Sports. And they give extra concentration to every people to enhanve.

Hostel Facilities

I didnt opted for hostel. But it is not good. It is expensive and i dont know know the condition of staying 8n hostel.

No comment, they are no official alumini meet. In featire may be go for alumini meet in each and every departmet like bcom computer sciene westa asian studies malayam english.

Admission

Apply as per University notification. They will select by merit, can apply for management quota also. You can get community benefit. It is a self financial cource. You can get admission in management quota with dination.

Faculty

All are best and good. Have own department lab with experienced faculty members. Have good library of offline and online. Biochemistry faculty have more than 10members having one department head 3 class tutor.

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
