The course are outcome oriented and the curriculum is independent to the college as it is a deemed University. Exam systems are descriptive in nature and are focused on skillsets and knowledge on the core concepts.thos is what I know from my seniors as i am yet to appear for my semester exams.

Our college proudly conducts the biggest technical and management fest in south india "tathva".students from hundreds of colleges and schools participate in it from all our the country. There is also a cultural fest RAGAM. All major events are celebrated in the campus.

National institute of technology Calicut being a government funded deemed University offers minimal fee to its students. The fees are determined according to the financial status of the student and SC STstudents have null fee.

SC and ST students have no academic fee.other economic backward students are also exempted some fees. So there is no or negligible need for loan for students studying in the national institute of technology Calicut.

There is a must inclusion in sports and fitness for all the students and faculty in the campus. Many inter nit championships are conducted. The labs are well equipment and functions 6 days a week. There is a central computer centre for the students use.

The national institute of technology Calicut has a total of 13 hostels in which 2 are for ladies and rest for men.most hostels are WiFi enabled and has a mess within it there are proficience for sports and games inside like TT table carroms chess etc.

The students security council and students affairs council are the most active in the campus it consists of all the students that helps the freshers adapt to the new environment. The alumni association of the college is well lit and encouraging.

I cleared the JEE MAIN entrance exam by scoring an all India rank of 29125 and OBC rank of 6886.The admission procedure was taken by JOSAA ,7 alottments were conducted by which atudents were alloted colleges and courses according to their preferences and availability.

Faculty members of the college are well experienced and skilled almost all are PhD holders. There are experts in every topic in our college and most of them are residing faculties and are available for students almost everyday.
