Choosing LNMIIT over some NITs and private colleges is not a regrettable decision. Everything is here to make your college life memorable and your career flourishing. The coding culture is awesome and LNMIIT was once 8th in the world in list.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is well designed keeping in mind about the industrial requirements. Labs are also a part in which we deal with the real life scenarios we may face while preparing for placements. Exam structure consists of quizzes, assignments mid term and end term.
Placement Experience
Since I'm in the first semester of second year, I have not applied or I'm not even eligible for internships but yes many of my seniors are well placed and are doing internships. This year average was around 10 lakhs per annum with people placed in companies like Amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft etc. Samsung and Amazon also offered internships to the 3rd and 4th year students.
College Events
There are several events celebrated in the college including all the 3 fests, Plinth the tech fest, Desportivos the sports fest and the best of all, Vivacity the cultural fest of LNMIIT. A year long list of events related to these fests and council are celebrated like Dandia Night, DJ Nights, friendly matches, Workshops etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is a bit expensive. The semester fees reaches around 1.8 lakhs per sem including everything, your hostel fee to tution fee, mess fee, everything. But the college provides according to the fee they charge.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't availed any scholarships or loan facilities but yes the college provides scholarship according to merit and academic performance in college. BPL scholarships are also there. Loan facilities are also available according to the need.
Campus Life
All types of extracurricular activities of all the three councils are happening throughout the year in the college. All types of cultural, tech clubs are functioning in the college. Sports facilities are of top notch quality. All types of grounds and fields are present in the college. Gym is also there. Labs are well equipped with the latest technology computers and machinery with air conditioned well furnished furniture.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel are well built and furnished. AC rooms in BH 4 and ducting rooms in other BHs which soon will be converted to AC rooms. Hostel will not be a problem and you can trust me on this. I'll rate hostel infrastructure and facilities a 4 on 5.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior junior culture is the integral part of a college and here at LNMIIT we strive to fulfill it. All the seniors are helpful and interactive. You can approach literally any senior regarding any problem and he'll sort it for you. We have a strong alumni network and the college's Alumni Association frequently arranges meet and talks with them.
Admission
I cleared JEE Main and then I submitted my preference in branches on the website and waited till I was allotted a seat. Then I was called in the college and I had to complete all the formalities.
Faculty
Faculty is well experienced and learned. Every faculty is well aware and knowledgeable about his/her course. Some of them may lack speaking, teaching skills but you can clear the doubts personally and they'll be obliged. Personally what I feel is CSE faculties are cool and ECE faculties are strict.
