Remarks

Lab is good. Fests are conducted on a grand scale. One or two good lecturers. College atmosphere. Greenery. Guest lectures. Negatives. Faculty is poor. No proper projects. Canteen food is worst. No convocation or anything. Heavy fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is good. Whole lot of varieties of courses are being conducted but the problem arises during the electives where you can't elect one and you to take what your professors picked and it's a complete package as you read engineering, environmental and management.

Placement Experience

2

There is no good placements in college. Don't even think of stipend during internship. Nobody wants local institutes in their companies. You are lucky enough you will get some company to work in but don't keep high hopes. No placements for metallurgy.

College Events

3.5

There is Nirvana, a major festival celebrated wholly. Every department participates in nirvana. They have DJ night and various tech and non tech activities take place. For metallurgy people there is metallon. Which includes 3 days fest with technical and non technical activities which are related to metallurgy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is every expensive. If you see you college as investment I should say it will be a bad one. You will get a degree but on knowledge levels you get nothing, if you are dependent on lecturers solely. But there are many colleges out there which gives same degree for lower prices.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships are given by college. Scholarships are given by government on caste basis. In our department there was scholarships for meritorious students like for top 5. No such facilities in other departments. No loan is given by college you have to apply separately in bank.

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are the best thing about the college. Practically every lab is conducted and the equipment college has is good. Sports are also upto a level where they conduct games every year inter colleges. Students are very active. You will always find some playing. There are some guest lectures by emeritus take place which are also a good thing about the college.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I have not opted for hostel but I have stayed there for 2 or 3 days. Mess was worst. There were constant complaints about that. Ragging is done and that too regularly. They drinks and they smoke in college on regular basis. The better option would be to take a hostel outside. The only good thing is it is near to college.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni I don't thinks is that strong. As nobody is placed in good companies and every one is isolated under groups you sometimes don't even know your class mates. If you know your seniors from college itself it helps in deciding the future.

Admission

I wrote EAMCET and got a rank. There is a counselling where you keep preffered colleges based on your rank and your interest in course and depending on the seats you get the college and to get MGIT rank should be below 30000.

Faculty

2.5

This is only applicable to Metallurgy department. The faculty is good but they lack teaching skills. When I was in college there was rare cases where I actually heard any lectures. Only I did was self study. But there are only one or two who are exceptional and others we can put them in average to below average category.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.
