Remarks

Strongly recommend anyone to join manipal bcus the kind of exposure you get in manipal, you wont get anywhere bcus the town is a whole student town so its pretty friendly, safe, many nearby places to visit, and then there are so many people from not only india but globally.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Its pretty good. Well designed. Grts updated every 4years. The exam is distributed with 2sessionals of 15marks each (unit test), 1 final test, and 2-4 assignements per sem. All marks are added and you get your final score in terms of gpa for that particular sem each subject has credits based on its weightage. Total credits per sem are adound 22-23.

Placement Experience

4

Internships are provided by collg but only when someone goes through a ppo or companies themselves come. They don't really support when you approach them with a new company. Placement scenario is fine for the core branches but is really bad at this moment for the other branches.

College Events

4.5

Techtatva- National Technical collg fest in odd sem with a variety of events happening right from gaming to coding. Fun food stalls. Amazing sponsors. Variety of games to relax and chill. Participants come from all over india. Revels- National Sports fest. Almost all sports are included in this with amazing cash prizes to win. Participants come from all over india.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. But worth the experience in diversity of collg. 10 lakh in total for tuition fees. But depends on the course opted. CS will be around 12lakh. It increases 15% every year admissions. But it compensates for the experience you get at manipal.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities are available but I don't have much idea about it since I didn't take one. But there are different scholarship available based on merit, NRI quota, SAGE quota, AICTE category, based on income.

Campus Life

5

We have the table in almost all hostels. With a hockey, cricket, football ground. All grounds are private and are not shared. Other indoor facilities are available in marena which is a manipal owned indoor stadium.

Hostel Facilities

3

125000 on a 2sharing non ac basis or single sharing ac depending on the hostel you are going for. Mess Fees includes veg and non both. No separate fees for non veg. Ac room are available at 160000 on a two sharing ac basis.

Alumni/Alumna

Very helpful. The seniors always put their reference if you ask for and they also put vacancies on MIT Facebook page or on telegram. They will also help you with anything you want other than jobs or any personal issues. Ragging dosen't happen in manipal and its a fact. We all live like a family here

Admission

Private Entrance exam. Apply online through manipal website and fill the required form, pay the fees, choose the dates and centre for your exam. The fees is around 1500 for one applicant. The score is out of 360(for batch of 2015, now increased maybe). You can give upto 3attempts and your highest score is counted.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is very well versed in their areas. Since all of them are Doctrates, they have spent quite an amount of time with their specialization. They will guide you for the entire 4years. Easy to approach also. You can discuss any problems related to subj. Anytime.

Placement Experience:

The college sponsors cultural and technical events like the annual fest and the tech fest. Usually, the events are conducted between February and April. The college library has a good number of textbooks and references. Students can easily access the textbooks and references. The college classrooms are well furnished with projectors and internet connectivity. Sports and cultural events are conducted within the college campus. Student forums emphasize the importance of teamwork and leadership skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It played an important role in my choice of this course. It provides a good foundation in core subjects and practical learning. Practical experience in the lab and through projects helps in grasping the applicability of theoretical concepts in actual life. It has a well-structured syllabus and promotes step-by-step knowledge. Moreover, the curriculum will help students in their higher studies as well as in practical applications by enhancing their ability to analyze problems. Examinations: It consists of internal tests and end-sem tests. Exams are conducted regularly; they are of moderate levels of toughness; with proper preparation, they can be cleared easily.

The placement from my senior batch of ECE has got package upto 24-26lpa but average is around 7-8lpa

Mostly domestic players as international players for our branch are not invited. Obviously for obvious reasons as most organizations chose domestic players when it comes to cyber security and even government has laid down many restrictions. To support placements of Cyber Physical Systems many government organizations too recruit students from our college.
