Entrance Preview

Haryana OLET Exam for MCA Admissions. In this Exam I scored around fifty eight marks out of hundred and secured fourth rank. Admission process is as ussual it happens in all government colleges. But one must keep all the documents ready if don't want to loose their seat just because of a document unavailability.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is good. It is a three year MCA program with six semester. However there is less emphasis on the extra-curricular activities. Teachers are really good but some are nightmares. Teachers are really qualified and most of them have done PHd's. Many of them have done more than two of the PHd's.

Internships Opportunities

Here a lot of companies do come for campus placement. Intrenship programs are available in college and outside as well. But that strictly depends upon the attendance.

Placement Experience

A lot of opportunities for the job seekers. As a no of well known companies visit hereAdobe, TCS, thoughtworks, Sapient, Yamaha and many more. The average package is about 3.0 lacs per anum. On the higher end company also gives around 8.0 lacs as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots of scholarships are available for the SC's ST's and BC and minorities, few for general categoris as well. Most of them being government providing full fee concession.DLF also offers scholarship for the professional courses.

Seniors are really helpful in every possible means. Ragging is strictly prohibited and not practiced anyhow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.
