RIT in brief

Overall college is good. It provides great infrastructure and good facilities. Teachers are good and placements are also fine. But one problem which i found is that there is very less greenery, they should seriously consider improving it.

Course is pretty rigorous and it covers all the important topics which are required for overall development of the student it and these are in accordance with current industry needs. Exam structure is consist of internal and external exam, there are three internal exams out of which best 2 are considered and at end of the semester final exams are conducted.

Placements are going great. All the major MNCs are visiting college for hiring and they are offering good positions. My college doesn't provide internship as such, but we do have companies coming here with projects and they contact faculties for selection of project team and monitoring of the project.

Our biggest even is college fest called "Udbhav" it is celebrated in April every year. Apart from it we have many technical as well as cultural fests some of them are, TEDx, Ignite( by CSE, ISE and MCA), Avishakaar (by IEEE), MSRMPD(by debate society), etc.

For us the fees for a year is 1.85 lakh. Its major contributor is turion fee which is around 1.6 lakh. Other things include exam fees, college internet fees and some more. According to me it is expensive. Facilities provided are not worth of this amount.

Our college have an alumni association which provide scholarship. But unlucky us, the students admitted through COMEDK don't get much scholarship opportunities. There are many options for students coming through CET.

There are many extracurricular activities, many sports that our college provides. We have court for Table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, football, cricket, badminton, and many indoor games. In extracurricular activities, we have DEBSOC(debating society), EDC(Entrepreneurship development cell), many different dance groups, Theatrics club. We have labs for almost every department. Mechanical workshop, computer science labs, chemical lab, physics lab, etc.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. The infrastructure is good for freshers as they have a separate building and it is newly built. Students of higher sem are offered old hostel. It is big but the since it is old, it doesn't look good.

I don't have any contact with Alumni but i know many senior students, they are really very helpful. They guide us at ever point. They also help in our projects and placement. They help in conducting fests. College does have great alumni network. They provide internships and scholarships.

From the exam a merit list is created and according to the rank, colleges and branches were offered. After selection of college and branch, next process was to be completed at college and it consists of document submission and other application form filling tasks.

Faculties are very knowledgeable, they have good understanding of almost all common subjects and their teaching style is also good. All of them are very punctual and friendly, they help in any academics as well as personal problems.
