Remarks

There's only negative things about my college. It's very hard to find any positivity here its like to find a coin in the sea. Infrastructure, Academics, Placement, Canteen, Sports Facilities, Extracurricular activities everything needs to be get done here. Everything seems incomplete & Management really is the worst part here.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

See from my point of view the couser which I'm into Is fascinating & exciting to study. But here the Studies are not that great, students have to study of their own inorder to pass the exam. The exam result is based on CGPA system.

Placement Experience

0.5

So placement In my college is as average as you just imagined. Nearly 20-30 % of students get placed with an average of 2-3 LPA which is okaish. Many unheard IT companies come for recruitment which doesn't give you much LPA soo choice is always yours to either get in or not.

College Events

0.5

So there's this annual fest called "Jnanagni" which is very fun to attend & volunteer. It includes everything from Sports, Arts to Tech Invasions, Performance & many more. We also have annual sports tournament called GPL for Cricket.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its expensive from my point of view regarding the facilities which I get here. Its disappointing because the amount of money which you pay doesn't provide you with a lot of facilities to enjoy & study. There's no WIFI in college, Placement sucks, Infrastructure is as small as any +2 school.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't provide any scholarship program its the central & state government which provides you will all sort of scholarship every year which can be availed directly by filling up the official form & wait for the scholarship.

Campus Life

0.5

There's only extracurricular activities which leads to only fun in college. The Practical labs is very important for studies purpose but also to learn new things & helps us to get knowledge about anything more deeply.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Yes & it really okaish. There's WIFI in hostel & you get to share your room with 3-4 mates which is best things. Food really is disappointing as expected from Hostels. Though the enjoy & fun you'll have with your roomates is memorable.

Alumni/Alumna

Not so good, I mean seniors are co-operative if you knew them or casually ask for anything regarding college & notes. They are co-operative in that sense. We only had freshers party in 2st yr that's the only interaction we had with our seniors.

Admission

My college is GFTI so inorder to get into the college I had to give JEE enterence exam & on the basis of my JEE score i get admission into my college. In the year 2016 there was no Josa allocation happening so college took admission by their own.

Faculty

2

Coming to teachers, there are few teachers who are really helpful & supportive but other than few everyone is his egoish of being a Faculty in GFTI college which is not generally expected students have to study of their own for the sake to pass the exam. No industry tours are provided to the students.

Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.

Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google, microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Tula Institute has a policy where students have to have a severe training during the second year. So finally comes the placements and around half the batch is seen getting placed every year from our college.
