Quite an experience

The college provides decent exposure to students in all areas ,it also provides a platform for the students to grow and learn and be self aware of themselves of the strengths and their own weaknesses. college has good scenic spots as well as it has good food options.

The course curriculum vitae was good and rigorous and we as students had to undergo detailed exams and numerous of them every semester. There are a total of 8 semesters. Exam is constituted of 50 percent internals and 50 percent externals.

No , students have to personally apply for internships. The college does help you with placements though. A large number of companies flock during the placement season. So, Job opportunities are quite good I would say.

There's one technical event "Techtatva" , one cultural and one sports event " Revels" which are celebrated annually. These fests attract good number of students from several colleges around the country.

The fee structure is on the expensive side for any average Indian Family to afford. Expect to shell out somewhere between 25- 30 lakhs for the entire course including cost of living which is almost twice of other colleges.

I personally did not get any scholarship or loan but loan services are provided by State Bank of India for an average rate of interest. scholarship facilities can also be availed by the economically weaker society of people and even meritorious students can avail merit based scholarship.

There's a dedicated Sports complex called Marena which hosts a swimming pool , gymnasium and recreational hall which have nearly all the sports facilities made available to the students. There's also a cricket pitch and 400m running track.

Hostels hostels are ok they have decent amount of cleanliness and hygiene but they lack washing and cooking facilities. They also have Wi-Fi services and are well lit and spacious. Other hostels also have air conditioning and washing facilities.

The element network is really big and has around 5000 strong alumini and they are all well connected through a social platform called Manipal Alumini Network. Aluminis also visit the campus for placements of students.

Had to write the college entrance exam , I scored okay in that and appeared for the central counseling, after which I got admission to the particular course which was btech in civil engineering. People get courses based on their rank obtained.

The college hosts mixed quality of faculty. Some are great with vast experience and knowledge in their related field while some are not really interested in teaching. But all professors are well qualified.
