Remarks

According to me i have chosen the best engineering college. The management team is really very good. I have many friends to enjoy the off time.

Entrance Preview

I took COMED-K,I got rank of 7648 in my entrance exam of COMED-K. Although there were many options for me to choose any other college but the branch of engineering which I wanted I got that in N.I.E. My admission process held at Bangalore and I am from Bihar. I came alone from Bangalore to Bihar completed all the process and now I am very happy studying.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being an Information Science Engineering student for first year its really nice till now. We have to study different subjects for first year faculty team is really good,supportive, motivational.

Internships Opportunities

Yet I am in first year so no Internship yet but my senior told its one of the best engineering college in Mysore. Cisco,Mercedes,Infosys,Bosch,Google came previous years.

Placement Experience

4.5

The place ratio is superb this year 10 people placed by Cisco in first round. They were offered 10 lakhs package. Infosys taken around 20-25 people. Some peoole get placed in Mercedes benz too this year.

College Events

Festivals are really celebrated in grand. Being my first year I have seen only one Cultural festival which was performed by college students and chief guests are invited there. It was fun time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for COMED-K outside Karnataka students is 1.5 Lac.

There's loan facility available and I'm going to use it from second year.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome i love to be in my campus (not in classes). Gender ratio is equal. Labs are very good,robotics labs i like the most.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food is good. Rating 4/5 i live in boys hostel and the hostel fee is rs 60000.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumins are good enough to be rated 4.5 out of 5. Senious are good,helpful.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

Honest review of The national institute of engineering

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
