Remarks

Positive - it has a good Atmosphere also all colleagues are understanding and helpful. Negative- overpriced fee structure and and not a big role of sports and exercises The submissions can be pretty handy at times

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is bit on heavy side with numerous subjects also some internal subjects with numerous submissions and project work and exam structure 2 mid term tests and 1 semester end exam with some marks for internals.

Placement Experience

Placements is 100% guaranteed by the college but average package rate is low as compared to growing market.no college does not provide internship,just some suggestive mails are sent on respective email ids

College Events

Sattva- Main college fest which is three days long having multiple activities and celebrations also events. Taqneeq- technical fest of our college which showcases different goods produced by esteemed students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive compared to other engineering colleges which also have higher salary packages and also hostel provided by college are expensive but canteen food rate is good compared to other money utilising structures.

Fees and Financial Aid

Good scholarship is only given to the students who make a good remark on international events like conducted by nasa,isro and loan facility offered by my college is something I'm not aware off nor I have availed it

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities like labs are part of course which is provided rather than that you have to take permission for other acces which is provided by Dean by showing the work or project you are working on or will do.

Hostel Facilities

Not opted but extremely overpriced with less facilities and bad infrastructure and less spaced also it is rather expensive food is not provided within fees of hostel also many important facilities missing like WiFi etc

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful also they know what we are up to and will go through as they have already experienced it ,also alumni network people are rather in job or focusing on further studies as direct enrolment in job is providing less yearly package.

Admission

By appearing in entrance exam (Npat-nmims programs after twelfth) and then getting graded on the test ,then it is ranked according to the merit list and no. Of student appeared.After then orientation and selection of stream and course of your choice and no. Of available seats.

Faculty

Faculty in our some good and some average but it also depends on the interest on the subject they are teaching ,they provide all the required knowledge for the field but extra knowledge is not usually provided.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

MPSTME HONEST COLLEGE REVIEW FROM A FY STUDENT.

Admission process is merit based , based on the NMIMSCET for engineering students , The branch allotment and upgradation is again merit based during orientation. All About MPSTME

There are very less colleges in mumbai having civil engineering. This college is one of the best considering the infrastructure international linkage etc.I applied for Vjti and spit except this college.I choose this college over them because of the industry exposure and the connections internationally.I dis make into the other colleges in cet cap round but i wanted this college in specific because i found it more benificial with the amount of things it had to offer in this course over the others.After you give the entrance exam of the college you get your result mailed to you which has your merit number with that you get a counselling letter which has a date and time in it on which you have to take a demand draft of the course you want to the college then you go verify your documents and the you go and tell your preference to the councilor if you have the seat available in the course tou want they give you admission or they give you an option to be added to other branch for upgradation...Read More
