Remarks

Labs are quite good as we get all facilities to work in a lab under some faculty if we have some interest in the specific subject and want to know more about it. Fees structure is too high and this year the fees gas increased more also.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite interesting and informative. It gives information about different types of bacteria, antibiotics, industrial use, medicines, etc. Exam conducted is quite difficult as questions are not straight forward.

Placement Experience

Every student is placed though job opportunities are not that good as students get a very low package for salary. College does not provide internships, though it takes for industrial tours to many places.

College Events

Saraswati Puja, Rangmanch(music and dance competition), Ganesh Puja, Teacher's Day, Kinesion(footsal match for both boys and girls), Tribute to Ma Durga, Diwali night, Kiit fest, these are the events celebrated in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very expensive as compared to other colleges. Fees include everything like institutional fees, mess fees, hostel fees, etc. Fees per semester is 1,89,500. So, the fees amount is quite expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is awarded to the one who scores rank in kiit entrance exam as well as to those who are semester topper. Scholarship is also provided to foreign students who join kiit. Loan facility is also available for those who requires it.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are there such as dancing, drama, music, fashion designing, painting, craft work, etc. Labs are quite well maintained and are good. Sports activities are there like cricket, football, basketball, swimming, indoor games, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

No comments on this point. Since we dont have any contact with the alumni students in any way but senior students are helpful in all ways and its a ragging free campus so no problems are created. Seniors are good.

Admission

At first we have to go through an entrance exam then shortlisted candidates are called for counselling, then the course to be opted is described with details to us and then admission procedure starts. We have to pay the counselling fees as well as the admission fees for this purpose.

Faculty

Faculty is strict though communication is apt. They teach quite well giving relevant details about a particular subject. They clear all our doubts any time we ask. They encourage us with different ideas.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
