Remarks

Good infrastructure but knowledge given here is less. Non cooperative management , parking problems , worst examination centre , heavy fines , security guards improper behaviour , they just want money from students.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Civil engineering one of the oldest branch in world and has lot of applications and is very closely connected to the public from buildings to roads and drinking water to sanitary. It is a branch where subjects like structural , hydraulics , irrigation, geology , environmental, transportation are taught. Internals are conducted twice in a sem for all the theory subjects and once for laboratory subjects. These internals are conducted for 50 marks and the average of the two is taken and shall be counted for awarding grades at semester end. Main exams are conducted for 100 marks.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placements are quite good for circuit branches and too bad for non circuit branches. People in branches like civil , mechanical, automobile are jobless and no one from management or college staff literally worries about the thing.

College Events

2.5

Starting from independence Day , teachers day ,Engineer day ,inter college fest's , college fest , department fest , republic day , freshers day and also graduation day and send off are celebrated. Many celebrities visit the College during events sometimes traffic awareness programmes , water conservation programmes , swacch Bharat abhiyan would be held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is quite expensive. For those who are taking admission through government seats should pay atleast 1lakh per year and for management quota students fees is around 3 lakhs per year and this does not include hostel fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are provided for rank students at the end of graduation. Rs 25000 is given to the top rank holders by management and many alumnees give cash prize for meritorious students for higher education.

Campus Life

4

Laboratories are quite good and there is a football , tennis and basketball ground. There will be competitions conducted for sports like cricket and football. There is a special committee in college called as center for performing arts (CPA) where you can show your special talents which may related to dancing , drama , comedy, singing etc.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There are two types of hostel NRI and Indian. NRI is costlier as it is two sharing room and it might cost around 1.5 lakhs per year. Indian hostel is four people sharing hostel in one room and cost is around 1.1 lakhs per year. Only solar heater are present and no geyser are installed in hostels. Indian hostel consist of common bathrooms where as NRI hostel have separate bathrooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Definitely alumni does a great job here. There will be alumni meet conducted in college. And many help the needy students. Many alumni have their own startups and few may even give job opportunities to students.

Admission

Through common entrance test conducted by the state government. Based on the merit ranking and our options entered admission is done. Fees is to be paid through challan and all the documents like 10 marks card ,12th , study certificates , transfer certificate and other certificates if required.

Faculty

0.5

Faculty of our college is not that good because proper education is not being provided. Faculty itself are not familiar with the subjects and are too lazy to prepare a good question paper for exams, they give the Same questions from textbook not even changing the values of numericals.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
