Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course structure was pretty elaborate and helpful. We had most of our learning in the practical form, i.e. in the labs and during industrial visit. Corporate exposure is good, many guest lectures are also organised by the college, where esteemed industry professionals visit our campus in order to impart their valuable knowledge.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement assistance is limited in our college, although most of our batchmates get placed during the internship process. Internship is a compulsory element in our course curriculum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual fee for my 3 year diploma program was Rs. 65,000. The college provides many basic as well as luxurious facilities including swimming pool and even a Sauna.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life is pretty lively and dynamic. Many cultural events are organised throughout the year, which are pretty exciting. College infrastructure is also good and consists of amenities like Swimming pool, sauna, helipad (for emergencies), well furnished reading room, high tech labs, fully digitized computer labs, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Munnar college also offers hostel facilities right there within the campus. Hostel rooms are allotted on a first come first serve basis. Since the accommodation facility is limited, therefore students have to pre-register the seats by paying a sum of 25K. Annual hostel charges are around 90k per annum.

Admission

Admission process is pretty basic and straightforward. Students have to appear for an entrance test conducted by the NCHMCT JEE. Students clearing the entrance test are invited for the counselling process.

Faculty

5

Faculty was supportive and helpful. They had a lot of practical experience to back their excellent teaching skills. Guest faculties were also good and we had many interactive sessions with them.

Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
