Diploma course was a better choice for me, the faculties were really helpful for me and they were friendly.we were provided with star hotel visits ( industrial visit) during our course.Rajeev sir was really helpful for me

My campus life was really amazing, got soo many friends.we use to celebrate each and every festival because we have students from all over india so we use to celebrate every festival.we use to celebrate our college day and all the important days.

Campus Life

We had sports and celebrations during our course, we were equipped with labs and all. We didn't had a sports facility in our college because we don't have much space available there because the building is designed as a complex storey building.anyway we have recreation rooms with simple games.

Hostel Facilities

I didn't opted for a hostel because the college was near my home, anyway they have hostel facilities for boys and girls. The rooms and enough big and it is on sharing basis average rent is 4000/- including 3 times food ( this was previous rate,am not aware about current one)

Hostel Fee: INR 48000 per year

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.
