Remarks

Provides a good environment to learn and grow Good infrastructure 100 percent freedom to pursue your interests Happy and open environment Downside is management is a bit slow in reacting to major issues which is being taken care of nowadays

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I think my course is designed according to the latest requirements of the industry. We have the freedom to choose some open and program electives also, which also help us to broaden our scope of knowledge. Distribution of marks is as follows: Internals: 4 open book classroom assignments which are of 5 marks each= 20 marks 2 sessionals of 15 marks each= 30 marks Externals: Also known as end-semester exams which are of 50 marks in which the portion is the whole syllabus taught

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements for the computer and circuit branches are top notch. Computerized branches have companies like Microsoft,Amazon, Citrix, nutanix,Goldman Sachs etc., coming for their recruitments which provide quite a high compensation package Core branches placements are a bit poor but they are better than most of the other colleges. There are few companies like TATA motors, Textron,Benett Coleman etc, coming to the campus to recruit young talents Other than these companies, there are numerous companies which concentrate on data science such as Axella,ZS associates etc.(Huge number of data science companies)

College Events

4

Many events are celebrated in the College campus, but there are two main events, one in each semester. They are: TechTatva: This is the technical fest which is celebrated in the College in the odd semester. Every department has its own event and many innovations are on display. Students from many colleges across the country visit the College for the 4-day extravaganza Revels: This is the cultural and sports fest celebrated in the even semester of every year. This fest is celebrated to realise the importance of all traditions and to boost the importance of sports. There are many inter college sports events in which many IIT's,NIT's and other colleges attend the College which makes it India's biggest cultural and sports fest Other than these two, many festivals such as holi, diwali, Republic and independence day are officially celebrated by the College Clubs organise their own events such as Sunburn Manipal,Jashn-E-Manipal, Dhol baje etc which attracts lots of people making them colourful

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure- I think is on the higher side of spectrum, a bit expensive but this is justified as the infrastructure is top notch and the environment for growth is very conducive. The fees for every academic year is RS.3,72,000 for our batch. The fees per year increases every subsequent academic year to maintain and build new infrastructure

Fees and Financial Aid

Banks such as ICICI bank, SBI bank and Syndicate Bank offer student loans to students at an reasonable interest rate which can repaid after the student graduates and stats working. This facility was availed by one of my friends

Campus Life

4.5

There are good sports facilities, there is a state of the art indoor sports complex Marena which has all the sports facilities such as Futsal court,TT court, squash, basketball courts along with a fully equipped gym and a swimming pool. Marena has a monthly membership cost. Even if you don't want to have a Marena subscription, there is a hockey, football and cricket field in the campus along with many open all purpose grounds There are many clubs which organise extra curricular activities and functions too

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I've opted for hostel. There are many types of rooms from which you can choose one on a first come, first serve basis. For students, there are single attached, double attached(with and without AC), single common, double common, triple common and dormitory The fees for these varies accordingly depending on the room chosen

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni put up lots of opportunities on the common MIT group who themselves are sometimes in significant positions in highly reputed companies. This is highly beneficial to students and also builds up the name of the College in the market

Admission

To get admission in this college, you'll have to give the MU-OET and according to the marks obtained in the test,a rank list would be prepared. Rank-wise counselling takes place and there are 7 rounds of counselling here. You are asked to select a branch and in the further rounds, you have an opportunity to upgrade your branch in the further rounds if vacancies arise

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are young and hungry. They are quite knowledgeable. They can relate to us and they have the tools to keep us interested in the classroom. They have the hunger to learn more and more and share more knowledge.

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

Placement Experience:

Students at RVCE become eligible for campus placements typically from the seventh semester onwards. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering a wide range of job opportunities to students. Some of the prominent companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, and Accenture, among others. These companies make a significant number of job offers across various profiles, including software development, consulting, and research. The highest package offered varies from year to year and can range from ?10-20 lakhs per annum, depending on the company and the profile offered. The average package generally falls between ?4-8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements varies, but RVCE has a consistently high placement record, with a significant majority of students securing job offers during campus placements. As for my plans after completing the degree, I aim to explore job opportunities in the field of industrial management, leveraging the skills an
