Remarks

Positive remark is that college lets all kinds of people in and does not discriminate. There is no such kind of biasness in any field in the college be it academics, teachers, sports or any other thing or activity for that matter. The only negative remark would be the college timings for almost all departments. ANother positive remark would be the providing of college bus to students and teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is sent to us from Noida, as it is the main campus. But the course has a lot to teach us including Foreign Business Language which gives a better opportunity for students to go out and study in abroad. The exam structure is mainly that the semesters happen once in May and the other one happens in December.

Placement Experience

4

For my course, there still hasn't been any internship. But yes for other departments there have been internships and the overall experience for them has been very good. But the job placements provided here are very good.

College Events

5

All the festivals here are celebrated. The events happen in the most joyful manner. We have our main college fest called Amiphoria. The sports event that takes place for all colleges amongst amity is sangathan which happens in the most active manner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure honestly here is a little expensive than the normal fee strucutre. But then again, this is a private autonomous university providing the students with all facilities possible, so it has to be expensive than the other governmental colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Good scholarship, there are people who are availing 100% schoolarship apart from 50 or 75%, so it completely depends on the student investment of time and brains. The loan facility, i haven't heard about any yet, so i wont comment on it.

Campus Life

5

The sports department is fantastic for all Amity's. They have sangathan which happens amongst all institutions of Amity once every year. There are a lot of sports and people can chose accrodingly, there is no limit to the number of students who want to be a part of it. Labs for other departments are too good. In my course we dont need labs. But the Foreign Business Language lab we have has given us a lot of facilities for better learning of a new language. In activities, innumerable people take part with great interest.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Opting for hostel, there are many who opt for hostel. but it depends on the individual, not everyone likes it, there are some who stay here till there graduation or post graduation gets over but then there are people who shift to apartments as well, according to one's own needs. The rating for hostel would be 7.5/10

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of all departments are too good. The college started in 2014, I know seniors from that time, till date, they are all too good and too helpful. All of us are still in touch and each one helps when in need, even outside university. The alumni meet that happens every year is too good, but apart from that all seniors try their level best to attend occassions that happen in Amity as those are real prosperous moments for Amitians to surely remember and make innumerable memories.

Admission

I had an entrance exam along with a course of interview which was held in a peaceful manner. The interviewee askeed questions which were relevant to my subject as well as waited for me to answer in the most appropriate manner.

Faculty

5

The faculty of our college is brilliant. They have knowledge about everything and the correct knowledge. The faculty before coming to class does a proper research before providing knowledge to anybody for that matter. There is a peaceful and friendly relationship between the faculties and students.

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
