Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well planned, also it provides us the exposure to us under different student branch as volunteer/organiser of events.The staff of college is well qualified but the good thing is the laboratory equipments are excellent which gives us more info.

Internships Opportunities

Actually I am a 2nd year guy and I have not yet done any internship hence I cannot tell about it. But I heard from seniors that many reputed companies comes to PICT even from foreign to recruit them for Intership along with good stipend, also for this college supports.

Placement Experience

Placement is what PICT is famous for .Almost 45-50 companies comes to PICT for recruitment offering highest package as 34 lakhs per annum. Out of this almost 15-20 companies gives dream package of above 5 technical event lakhs to 34 lakhs(till date).

Gender ratio at PICT is almost 1:1 ratio .Its the best part of ones life to be in PICT college.

The alumni interaction with us is great, as we come to know about what i going on in the current professional life.They as well as seniors helps us in technical things to solve our problems to organize any event or during our mini project (as I am in 2nd year).

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
