Remarks

Christ College is Excellent College except for the placement part. Too many good students, competition is very tough. It all upto the students how they can make the best use of the opportunity. Holistic development is the focus of the College.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course is good. Exams are tough especially CIA's and midterms. Nightout is must during the CIA's. It is a tough course but you are trained well. Course focuses on many areas but the depth with which they are covered is very low.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and internship are tough to get as there are 700 people competing for 150 odd companies. It is tough, one must have very good communication and aptitude skill. Placement would be tough if one does not process these skills.

College Events

4

We have OBT out bound trading, rural visit, symposiums, sustainability talk. Corporate interface is held every week where we get to interact with ceos, CMOS, cfos of various companies. There are also quizzes conducted where students can compete against best talent available outside.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is a bit expensive. But it is worth it for the infrastructure provided. Faculty are good, a lot of events are conducted, placement training is also included in the fees. The fees structure is 4 lack for the first year and around four lack is changed at the begining of second year.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are from BPL background fees is a bit less than usual. They will strictly evaluate the papers if you claim that you are from BPL background. Apart from it there is no other scholership or loan facility provided.

Campus Life

4.5

The College promotes sports activity. All outdoor game copetition such as football, basketball, cricket, throwball, batminton, tennis etc are held in the College. There is retail lab provided for marketing students and LOS( lean operation) students have a lab in collaboration with IBM.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel has got a good infrastructure. The only problem is students have to punch at 9:00 pm in the evening and before 8:45 am in the morning which restricts the students from going out of hostel after 9:00pm. Fines are charged if one misses to punch. There is a table available to play table tennis. OTG and induction heater is being provided in the basement.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is very helpful. There are available in almost every organisation near the area and help in every aspect from getting a summer internship to getting a placement. They also help with acedamics such as submission of CIA's and reports.

Admission

You have to write car, mat or cat get 70 percentile or above, then they conducticroprrsentation, GD and finally an interview to select the candidates. There is a written round also conducted where they check for basic writing skills.

Faculty

5

Most of the faculty members are good, qualified from IIMs having vast industry exposure, it up the student of how best he/she can make use of them. They resolve you queries, encourage you to participate in various events.
