A brief and accurate analysis of OIST

Overall our college was good. One can gain knowledge , skills if he/she are eager to learn.The infrastructure of the college is also good environment of college is better than others college situated in bhopal.

It is a four years degree program with 8 semester.Apart from 2 semesters, there are unit tests and mid semesters every year. Internal and external are also taken before each semester. each semester has 5 descriptive written papers but in last semester it has 4 papers.

Placements and job opportunities in our college are better than all private colleges situated in bhopal.But IT and CS branch have more jobs or opportunities than CE ,ME and other branches.package of job does not much sufficient for all students. The college does not provide any internship.

Our college celebrates many events yearly. They are:- 1. Tech fest is the main event which runs at least 4 days.various types of activities are held from day to day. 2. Annual function 3. Independence day 4.republic day 5.Fresher party 6.Farewell party And so many events are also held.

Fee structure is feasible, bus fee is compulsory for students who does not live in college hostle.fee structure for every year is different but there is no vast difference in fee. in 2013 it was approximately 70k per year.

All non creamy layer OBC ,SC/ST category students get scholarship every year. I did not get it because I was a student of general category. The college also offered loan facility. Many friends availed loan facility.

In extracurricular activities cultural programmes ,anchoring , debates are held. Labs are also have in every department for different practical.various sports like cricket,chess ,basketball etc. Are also good. Thera are also many sports field for their respective category.

Yes,Alumni meets are held from time to time.They invite alumni and senior students in the college premises.In the auditorium seniors shares their valuable ideas.It helps a lot to new students.seniors are respected by all students.

I got admission in this College via entrance exam called MPPET. After allotment of OIST college in counciling I went college along with my all required documents. In the college they confirmed my admission after verification of my documents and eligibility.

The college has sufficient no. Of teacher in each department but in the civil department all the teachers don't have required skill. Some of them have good and experienced faculty and they all teaches according to schedule.
