How is NIT Raipur different from other NIT's?

NIT Raipur offers certain unique advantages that make it different from the other NITs. These are-

1. An International Hockey stadium is located in front of it.
2. An International Swimming pool is located adjacent to it.
3. An exclusive local railway station is located at its back.
4. AIIMS is located less than 1 kilometer away from the campus.
5. If you like to watch movies during your free time, GLITZ Cinemas is located just 200 meters away from the campus.
6. This college has been in existence since 1956, so it has a really strong alumni network.
7. NIT Raipur runs 12 UG programs (B.Tech and B.Arch). It has Biomedical Engineering which isn’t found in every other college.

Though NIT Raipur isn’t a top engineering college, it is growing and developing constantly.
