NITs are government colleges, so the fees are lower compared to private institutions.

The fee for a 4-year B.Tech in Production Engineering is around 10–12 lakhs. I know it might not seem very low, but when you compare it to private colleges, it's about half of their fees!

If your family income is less than 1 LPA, you can expect to receive a decent scholarship.
