I’m in the Instrumentation & Control Engineering department at NIT Trichy, and it’s been a fulfilling experience. The course might not be as popular as others, but it has immense industrial applications. Companies in power and oil sectors always need instrumentation engineers. Our placement scene for 2025/26 looks promising since we have strong companies visiting for internships and jobs. The stipend for internships varies from 20,000 to 150,000, depending on the company, which is pretty good. I’m excited about what’s coming up!

I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control Engineering at NIT Trichy, and I can say it's a great choice if you're interested in sensors and automation. The curriculum is quite engaging, with a good mix of mechanical and electrical concepts. We have two labs every week that allow us to get hands-on experience, which is super helpful. For placements in 2025/26, big companies like Microsoft, Nvidia, and Goldman Sachs come here, so the opportunities are solid. Just make sure to work on your skills because there is competition!

Studying B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control Engineering at NIT Trichy has been quite a journey. The labs are a bit crowded, but they provide essential real-world experience. I love that we have two major fests, which really enrich campus life. For placements in 2025/26, there’s a lot of potential. Companies like Texas Instruments and P&G recruit from our campus, so if you're skilled, you'll have good chances. The training for placements is well-structured and starts in the 6th semester, which gives us ample preparation time.
