Studying B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at NIT Trichy has been a rollercoaster. I chose this branch mostly because of my rank, but it’s grown on me. The curriculum is quite relevant, and while some subjects seem pointless, the practical labs really help. As for placements in 2025/26, I’ve heard that many students get good offers from top companies. The fees aren’t too high either, around 60,000 for academics and 40,000 for hostel. Plus, there are scholarships that can cover the entire cost for deserving students, which is a big relief!

NIT Trichy's Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch has been quite an experience for me. I picked this course after the JOSAA counselling, and I can say I’ve developed a genuine interest in it. The curriculum connects well with real problems, and the hands-on labs are a huge plus. For placements in 2025/26, I’m optimistic since companies like FANG come every year to hire. The fee structure is reasonable; around 60,000 for academics and 40,000 for hostel and mess annually. Plus, there are fee waivers for those who need them.

I’m currently pursuing my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at NIT Trichy, and honestly, I chose this branch based on my rank. Initially, I wasn’t very interested, but now I’ve started to appreciate the real-world applications of what we’re learning. The curriculum is well-structured, with practical labs that make the theory come alive. I’ve heard that placements for 2025/26 look promising, with many tech giants visiting the campus for recruitment. The fees are manageable, especially with the scholarships available for economically weaker students.
