How are the hostels at NIT Jalandhar?

Hostel rooms contain fan, chair, table, beds, and 2 closets mess food is pretty average, it is horrible so students compromise on it registration process for hostel is through college erp portal and for pg the best location is bidhipur

For girls , the college has newly constructed hostels with decent facilities , roooms are mostly 2 seaters each having 2 beds 2 almirahs and two separate study tables. the rooms and common areas are well maintained and overall cleanliness is good. The hostel food is adequate and hygienic.

I stay in boys hostel one inside the NITJalandhar campus. the hostel rooms are equipped with essential bed ,study table ,chair ,wardrobe and have adequate lighting And electrical outlets. Each floor has clean washrooms and water coolers while common rooms offer tv and indoor games for relaxation. The hostel mess serves a fixed vegetarian menu quality is average Some dishes are better than others with breakfast and dinner generally preferred over lunch.Registration for hostel is simple and part of the college admission process Making it affordable and convenient for first years overall the hostel provides a safe and sociable environment close to academic buildings and campus amenities. First year students get bh1 bh2 bh5 where bh1 and bh 2 are four seater and they are quit big rooms and first year food is also very good and varity is served while bh5 is two - seaterr .... registration process is quite smooth and less hectic

In nit j first year students live in bh1 BH2 and bh5 hostels bh1 and bh2 provides 4 seater rooms The rooms are quite spacious and have each room have a balcony and access to college wifi network But there are only 3 tables and chairs in each room one have to suffer by it. The foos quality is okayish but not too good the taste is not good for night dinner the registration proces is simple and done by online allotment and after the physical reporting in college is done we have to report in hostel and we are alloted with the room
