How are the hostels at NIT Raipur?

In terms of hostel facility, in room we have bed, electricity and table and chair. We all student reside in triple sharing. The meal is very bad, the only silver point is the milk that we recieve, only 3 days a week. Registration process is according to college administration only and you just need to fill the form and submit it.

1. In our rooms we get the facility of unlimited access of wifi and regular room cleaning facilites. 2. The meals which we are getting in our room is usually good but sometimes there can be fade in the quality of food. 3. Provision of hostel is based on the basis of CGPA of previos semesters and its fee is around 11205 per year. So it's quite affordable as per my perception. 4. Locality like Kota, Aamanaka,Amapara,DDU and many more.

My present hostel is Sirpur . In one room 3 people will live . (Triple sharing) Washroom is common for the one floor. 4 washrooms are available at each floor at the 4 corners of the hostel. For first year My hostel is maainpat in which 2 ppl live in one room. Double sharing Mainpat and chitrakoot are double sharing Rest first years hostel are triple sharing

hostel is only provided to the top rankers in jee mains in first year and top cgpa holders from second year . Reservation is also given to sc/st and pwd obc students . the hostel facilities for first year are really good . for first year there are 4 hostels for boys which are kotumsar ,mainpat, chitrakot and malhar and indrawati,mahanadi for girls. The food is very good . for second third and last year we have sirpur hostel with triple accomodation but food and water quality is not upto mark for senior hostels

There are three girls hostel in all and after first year it's a twin sharing room. So for the last three years I stayed in the same room with same room partner and it was fun as hostel rooms were good and even the mess that served us food was quite clean and hygienic.
