University of Burdwan Notice

The University of Burdwan has released the list of candidates selected for admission into its various postgraduate programs including PG in Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Physiology, and Zoology. Candidates are instructed to make the fee payment on or before December 12 and send the payment proof of the same to the respective department HODs through email.

University of Burdwan Important Dates for PG Courses Admission

List of candidates candidates selected to take admission in various PG Courses must follow the schedule mentioned below:

Payment of required fee through the student’s dashboard December 11 and 12, 2024
Verification of documents by department HODs December 12 and 13 2024

After paying their required fee, candidates should email the HoDs or TICs of their departments or the Center of Studies, including a copy of their "successful" payment receipt.

Candidate must have the original copy of the below-listed documents at the time of document verification

  • Application form
  • Payment receipt
  • Admit card for the S.F. or equivalent exam
  • Mark sheet for the S.F. or equivalent exam
  • Mark sheet for the H.S. or equivalent exam
  • Mark sheet for the UG exam
  • Mark sheet for the PG exam (if applicable)
  • B.U. Registration Certificate (if you're a BU student)
  • Caste certificate or PWD certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhaar card
  • ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) ID card

How To Check the University of Burdwan PG Courses Merit List

Follow the steps mentioned below to avail the University of Burdwan merit list for PG courses admission.

  • Visit the University of Burdwan's official website @buruniv.ac.in
  • Click on the “PG Admission 2024” button on the left side of the screen
  • Click on the “Provisional Modified allocation list for PG Admission(Phase 2) 2024-26 under Faculty Council (Science)” notice
  • The merit list will open.

Students who have a "Successful" payment status should make sure that the E-receipt of successful payments created in the online system is collected. Receiving an SMS from your own bank alone won't guarantee a successful transaction. Any payment failure brought on by network issues will not be covered by the university.
