The Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIM Shillong) has begun applications for its Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE) for the 2026 session.
Candidates can apply online until January 13, 2026, for Round 1 of the admission process.
The PGPWE program offers a one-year residential MBA designed for experienced professionals aiming to advance their careers while continuing to work.
The application fee is Rs. 3,000, which is non-refundable and non-adjustable.

To be eligible IIM Shillong for the PGPWE program, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution with a minimum aggregate of 50%, with some relaxation available for reserved categories.
Applicants should have at least five years of full-time work experience by March 31, 2026. There is a relaxation of one year in work experience for candidates with at least one year of field experience outside India.
Candidates must also meet minimum qualifying scores, such as a CAT overall percentile of at least 50 or a GMAT score of at least 500, valid within the last two years for CAT or five years for GMAT prior to application.
The admission process includes two rounds. After the application deadline, shortlisted candidates will be notified by January 21, 2026, and they will be required to attend a written exam on January 24, 2026.
The next stage involves the Executive Assessment Centre (EAC), which includes a group discussion and personal interview. Candidates must select three preferred venues for the assessment centre during the application process, with options for attending online for overseas candidates.
