Rungta International Skill University has officially opened admissions for the academic session 2026–27. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, rungta.ac.in. The university is inviting applications for a wide range of UG, PG, diploma and integrated programmes across Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Science, Law, Education and allied disciplines.

Rungta University Admission 2026 - Who Can Apply?
For most BTech programmes, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 45% marks. Admission is based on JEE, CGPET or REST scores. For M.Tech programmes, candidates need a relevant B.E./BTech degree with at least 50% marks, and selection is through GATE or REST.

For BCA and integrated BCA-MCA programmes, students must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics; MCA applicants must hold a graduation degree with required marks and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. MBA admissions require a graduation degree with a minimum 50% marks and valid scores in MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA or REST.
Pharmacy programmes require 10+2 with PCB/PCM and minimum qualifying marks, while MPharm requires a B.Pharmacy degree with GPAT or REST score. Science, Commerce, Management, Law and Education programmes require qualifying examinations as per course norms, with admissions based on REST or relevant state/national entrance tests wherever applicable.

Rungta University Admission Process 2026
Admissions are offered through two modes: Government Counselling-based admission (where applicable) and Institutional/Management Quota.
From session 2026–27, the Rungta Entrance Screening Test (REST) will apply to most programmes. The REST entrance examination applies to all programmes except PGDCA, DCA, B.Pharm (Practice), and B.Voc. The exam will be conducted in online mode, with a duration of 90 minutes and a total of 90 marks. There will be no negative marking, and the qualifying percentage is 50 per cent.
