Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has opened registration for JMEE and JLEE 2026 exams. The last date to apply is May 19, 2026, with the entrance examination scheduled for June 21, 2026, at astu.ac.in.

ASTU has announced registration for Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) and Joint Lateral Entry Examination (JLEE) 2026. Eligible candidates must submit their online applications by May 19, 2026, on the official portal at astu.ac.in.

The entrance examination for both JMEE and JLEE will be conducted on June 21, 2026, in offline mode. Candidates must complete the application process and pay the required fee within the specified deadline.

Candidates must be graduates with mathematics passed in Class 12 or at graduation level. Age should be between 20 to 26 years as per official guidelines.

Minimum marks requirement is 50% aggregate in graduation. Candidates must be Permanent Residents of Assam with valid PRC documentation.

Candidates must have completed a three-year engineering diploma or equivalent qualification. Bachelor's degree holders in engineering are also eligible to apply for JLEE 2026.

How to Apply for Assam JMEE & JLEE 2026?

  • Candidates must visit the official ASTU website at astu.ac.in to access the application portal.
  • Click on the JMEE or JLEE 2026 application link and complete the online registration process with accurate personal details.
  • Fill in all required educational qualifications and upload scanned copies of necessary documents.
  • Pay the application fee of Rs. 2,000 online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Candidates need to prepare their 10th and 12th standard mark sheets along with graduation-level mark sheets. A recent passport-sized photograph and scanned signature are mandatory for the application form.

Category certificate (if applicable), Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam, and valid identity proof must be uploaded. Ensure all documents are in the correct format and size before submission.

How to Download Assam JMEE & JLEE 2026 Admit Card?

  • Admit cards will be available for download from June 17, 2026, onwards on the official ASTU website.
  • Candidates must log in with their application number and password to download the admit card.
  • Print the admit card and keep it safe as it is mandatory for exam entry.
  • Verify all details including name, roll number, exam center, and exam timing before the examination date.
  • Candidates must carry their original admit card and valid government-issued identity proof (Aadhar, Passport, or Driving License).
  • Reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
  • Do not carry mobile phones, calculators, or unauthorized materials into the exam hall.
  • Follow all instructions given by invigilators and maintain silence during the examination.

Assam JMEE 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The JMEE entrance examination will be conducted for 3 hours with a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The exam covers topics from mathematics, computer science, and related subjects.

Candidates should focus on NCERT textbooks and previous year question papers for effective preparation. The marking scheme and detailed syllabus are available on the official ASTU website.

Assam JLEE 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The JLEE entrance examination will be conducted for 3 hours with 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The exam covers engineering subjects including mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

Candidates should prepare from standard engineering textbooks and previous year papers. Detailed syllabus and exam pattern are available on the official ASTU website.

What’s Next for Students?

Results will be declared within 15 days of the examination on the official ASTU website. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling and seat allocation based on merit rank and category.
