OUAT UG 2026 Registration Deadline Extended Till May 20; Exam June 9-11

OUAT extends registration deadline for UG 2026 admissions to May 20, 2026. Candidates must complete application fee payment by May 21, 2026, on the official portal at ouat.ac.in or ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in.

The Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) has announced this extension to provide additional time for eligible candidates. OUAT 2026 will be held from June 9 to 11, 2026, in offline (pen-and-paper) mode.

OUAT UG 2026 Important Dates

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB). A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required for the Unreserved (UR) category. SC, ST, PwD, and other special categories require a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Candidates must be Indian citizens with a valid domicile certificate from Odisha.

How to Apply for OUAT UG 2026?

• Candidates must visit the official OUAT website at ouat.ac.in or ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in to access the registration portal.
• Click on the OUAT 2026 UG application form link and fill in all required personal and academic details accurately.
• Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and category certificate as per specifications.
• Ensure all documents are in the correct format before submission to avoid rejection.

Candidates need to prepare their Class 12 mark sheet, category certificate (if applicable), and valid identity proof. A recent passport-sized photograph and digital signature are mandatory for the application form.

Ensure your photograph is clear, with a white background, and meets the specified dimensions. Keep all documents ready before starting the application process to avoid delays.

OUAT UG 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The entrance examination will be conducted in offline mode with a total of 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The exam duration is 2 hours, and the total marks are 200 with no negative marking.

The syllabus covers topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology studied in Classes 10 and 12. Candidates should focus on NCERT textbooks and previous year question papers for effective preparation.

How to Download OUAT 2026 Admit Card?

Admit cards will be available on the official website from May 20, 2026, onwards. Candidates must log in with their application number and date of birth to download the admit card.

Print the admit card and keep it safe as it is mandatory for exam entry. Verify all details on the admit card, including your name, roll number, exam center, and date/time of examination.

What to Bring on OUAT 2026 Exam Day

Candidates must carry their original admit card and a valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhar, Passport, or Driving License). Reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.

Do not carry mobile phones, calculators, or any unauthorized materials into the exam hall. Follow all instructions given by invigilators and maintain silence during the examination.

What’s Next for Students

Results will be declared after the completion of all entrance examinations. The merit list will be prepared based on candidates' performance in the entrance exam.

Qualified candidates will be called for counselling and seat allocation based on their merit rank and category. Counselling dates and procedures will be announced on the official website after result declaration.
