OJEE 2026 Answer Key Release Postponed to May 16

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee has postponed the release of the provisional answer key for OJEE 2026. Originally scheduled for May 14, 2026, the answer key will now be released on May 16, 2026. This means the challenge period has also been pushed back to May 16-18, 2026.

If you appeared for the OJEE 2026 exam conducted from May 4-10, 2026, and were waiting to check the answer key, you now have a couple more days. The postponement gives candidates more time to prepare their objections if they believe any answers are incorrect.

Why the Postponement?

The OJEE Committee hasn't specified the exact reason for the postponement, but such delays typically happen to ensure the answer keys are thoroughly reviewed and verified before release. This gives the committee more time to cross-check answers and prepare accurate keys for candidates.

Why the Postponement?

How to Challenge an Answer?

If you believe an answer in the provisional key is incorrect, here's what to do. Log in to your OJEE account on ojee.nic.in or odishajee.com. Navigate to the answer key section and view the questions and answers. Identify the question you want to challenge. Click on the objection form and select the question ID. Explain why you think the answer is wrong. Upload supporting documents (textbook pages, official references) in PDF, JPG, or JPEG format. Pay INR 100 per question through debit card, credit card, net banking, or Paytm. Submit your challenge.

Challenge Fee Details

The challenge fee is INR 100 per question. This is a non-refundable processing fee, but here's the good news: if your challenge is found to be correct after expert review, you'll get your money back. So if you challenge 5 questions and 3 are accepted, you'll get INR 300 refunded.

What Happens After You Challenge?

The OJEE Committee will review all challenges with a panel of subject experts. If they find your challenge valid, the answer key will be corrected. Based on the revised final answer key, results will be prepared and declared. You won't be individually informed whether your challenge was accepted or rejected. The final answer key after expert review will be final and binding.

Important Reminders

Only challenge if you have solid proof. Baseless objections won't be considered. Use credible sources like NCERT books or official syllabus materials as supporting documents. Keep your login credentials safe. Don't share your registration number with anyone. Make sure you submit your challenge before the deadline. Payment must be completed by May 18 at 12:00 Midnight.
