The program was hosted in 3 different clusters. The participating individuals received offers for 125 positions from well-known recruiters such as BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, and EY Parthenon.
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has successfully completed the summer placements for the 2026 MBA class, as part of the institute's prestigious Postgraduate Programme (PGP) in Management. With all 394 students placed across more than 25 cohorts, the institute saw a significant increase in the number of recruiters participating in the summer placement process, despite the unexpected market conditions.

IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements 2024: Cluster-wise Breakdown
Three clusters were used for the summer assignments. Students had the option to apply to their "dream" firms, and recruiters were grouped based on the industries they worked in. This year, the functionality was significantly improved to better reflect IIM Ahmedabad's mission to ensure a perfect "student-recruiter fit."
IIM-A PGP Summer Placements 2024- Cluster 1
Major opportunities in transformation, operations, management consulting, and investment banking were offered to the 210 students who were hired. Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, and Accenture Strategy were among the top recruiters in this cluster.
IIM-A PGP Summer Placements 2024- Cluster 2
One hundred students were placed in this cluster, and the leading recruiters were Amazon, Mahindra, and Hindustan Unilever Limited. Aditya Birla Group, Sun Pharmaceuticals, and Tata Administrative Services (TAS) all had significant engagement in the cohort.
IIM-A PGP Summer Placements 2024- Cluster 3:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Adobe, and Microsoft made generous offers to this cluster's 84 students, especially for consulting and tech-related positions.
Other Internships:
Through the IIMAvericks program at IIM Ahmedabad, eight students were able to find off-campus employment.
