The MHT CET 2026 exam will begin on 11th April, 2026 (Saturday) for the PCM group. The MHT CET PCM exam will continue till 20 April 2026.
- The April 12 exam date has been revised from the original schedule due to clashes with NDA/NATA.
- State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has scheduled the MHT CET PCB 2026 from 21 April to 26 April 2026.
The MHT CET 2026 Shift 1 starts from 9 A.M and the second shift begins at 2 P.M. You must review the MHT CET 2026 guidelines to avoid any confusion.
- You must download the MHT CET admit card and carry it to the exam centre.
- Failure to carry any of the documents mentioned in the MHT CET 2026 admit card will result in being rejected from taking the exam.
- You are not allowed into the examination hall after the reporting time.
- You must reach the MHT CET exam center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time.

MHT CET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
You must carry all the documents and follow the Dress Code for the MHT CET 2026 exam. The video by “Sameer Shaikh” explains the latest MHT CET 2026 guidelines and dress code.
A score of 110-120+ marks out of 200 are considered a safe score in MHT CET 2026 which will secure admission in reputable engineering colleges with a 90–95 percentile.

There are some guidelines that a candidate should follow at their exam center on the exam day

All the candidates should wear simple clothes to minimize the time at the time of frisking:
- Wear light, comfortable clothes
- Prefer half-sleeve shirts, T-shirts, or tops
- You can wear jeans, trousers, leggings, or salwar
- Wear simple slippers or sandals (low heels)
- Keep clothing simple with fewer layers
As per the revised MHT CET 2026 Schedule, the MHT CET PCB will be held on the following dates:
- Session 1 (PCB): April 21 – April 26, 2026.
- Session 2 (PCB): May 10 – May 11, 2026.
- Exam Type: Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
A score of 70 in the MHT CET is generally considered average, which will provide you with an 80–86+ percentile, giving an approximate rank around 30,000–32,000, which can change based on shift difficulty.
You can get admission into colleges like Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Nutan Maharashtra Institute, or various PCCOE branches.

Candidates should take care of the following things before the exam:
- Take proper rest and relax your mind before the exam.
- Don’t panic during the exam.
- Try to reach the exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam begins.
- Carry your Admit card and a Valid Photo ID.
- Wear comfortable clothes (avoid shoes, metal jewelry, etc.)

MHT CET 2026 will start from tomorrow, the morning shift begins from 9:00 AM, and the afternoon shift begins from 2:00 PM.

This year onwards, the MHT CET exam will be conducted in the state of Maharashtra only.
- Earlier, the MHT CET 2026 exam centers were located outside the state as well.
