IIT Jodhpur MTech Admission 2026 Deadline Extended to April 21; Apply Now

IIT Jodhpur announced an extension of the M.Tech application deadline to April 21, 2026, offering eligible candidates six additional days to complete their online applications.

The original deadline of April 15 has been pushed back to accommodate more applicants across 25+ M.Tech programs. Candidates can apply through the official portal for the 2026-27 academic year commencing in July 2026.

The extension applies to all admission categories including Full-time Regular with Assistantship/Fellowship, Full-time Regular without Assistantship/Fellowship, Self-sponsored, Full-time Sponsored, Part-time, Part-time (online), and Part-time (Project sponsored) candidates.

IIT Jodhpur is offering M.Tech programs across 13 departments including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, and emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Quantum Technologies, and Environmental & Sustainability Engineering.

The shortlist of selected candidates will be announced on April 25, 2026, followed by the admission process.

IIT Jodhpur MTech Admission 2026 Important Dates:

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or science (4-year program) or a master's degree in science, MCA, Pharmacy, or related fields. The minimum eligibility requirement is 60% marks for General/OBC categories (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in aggregate or a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10.

Full-time Regular candidates eligible for Assistantship/Fellowship must have a valid GATE score or be exempted as per Ministry of Education guidelines. Part-time and sponsored candidates require a minimum of two years of work experience after their qualifying degree and must qualify the written test or interview conducted by IIT Jodhpur.
