IIM Ahmedabad’s PGP-FABM Class of 2025 records successful placements with competitive domestic and international offers.

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has successfully concluded the final placement process for its PGP-FABM Class of 2023-25. Conducted in a hybrid mode and audited by B2K Analytics, the placements saw 44 students secure roles across consulting, FMCG, food processing, and other sectors.
With top domestic salaries exceeding INR 41 lakh and international offers reaching USD 39,211, the report reflects the institute’s strong academic learning, transparent reporting, and robust placement processes.
IIM Ahmedabad PGP-FABM Class of 2025 Placement Report
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad successfully concluded the final placement process for its PGP-FABM Class of 2023-25 on February 6, 2025.
Out of 45 students, 44 secured placements, while one student opted out to pursue their entrepreneurial venture under the IIMAvericks Fellowship, underscoring the institute’s encouragement of innovation and entrepreneurship.
A total of 35 companies participated in the final placements, representing a balanced mix of returning recruiters and new industry players across diverse sectors and functions.
Maximum earning potential for domestic roles ranged from ₹15,00,000 to ₹41,83,400, with median and Avg. CTC figures of ₹20,04,676 and ₹21,64,909, respectively.

On the international front, two students secured offers from Dubai in commodity trading, both with fixed annual packages of USD 39,211 in research and advisory roles, highlighting IIMA’s expanding global reach.
The sector-wise distribution for domestic placements saw consulting leading with 15 offers, followed by FMCG (10), food processing (6), and agri-input (4).
Function-wise, consulting and sales & marketing dominated with 11 offers each, while business development and general management had 5 offers each. In terms of location, Gurgaon remained the top choice with 9 offers, followed by Bangalore and Pan India (5 each), New Delhi (4), Ahmedabad (3), and Guntur (3).
Pre-placement and lateral offers also played a significant role in the overall outcome. Of the 12 pre-placement offers awarded through internships, 8 were accepted. The batch also received 3 lateral offers, reflecting industry confidence in the talent pool.
The placement season was further strengthened by initiatives like the “Dream Application,” which helped students align their career goals with the right opportunities.
Prof. Viswanath Pingali, Chairperson of the Placement Office at IIMA, said, “The consistent interest from recruiters, particularly those focused on food and agri-business, reflects confidence in the quality of our graduates and the structured processes we follow.”
Siddharth Choudhury, Recruitment Secretary of the PGP-FABM Class of 2025, added, “This year’s placements underline the relevance of our programme in the industry. The opportunities provided by both long-standing and new recruiters allowed students to pursue roles that match their professional aim, demonstrating the program’s ability to develop future-ready leaders.”
The hybrid placement mode ensured flexibility without compromising on quality, while compliance with Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS) Revision 2.2 showcased transparency and credibility in reporting outcomes.
