IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 final answer key at goaps.iitg.ac.in. Candidates can check their responses, while the result is scheduled to be announced on March 19, 2026.

GATE 2026 Final Answer Key Released

The IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 Final Answer Key on the official website @goaps.iitg.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download the final answer key to verify their responses.

The final answer key has been published after reviewing the objections raised against the provisional key. Based on expert evaluation, necessary revisions have been incorporated. No further challenges will be entertained at this stage.

As per the schedule, GATE 2026 was conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The exam is conducted for admission to PG (M.Tech) and PhD programmes, as well as for scholarships and recruitment in public sector companies.

GATE 2026 Result

The result of GATE 2026 will be announced on March 19, 2026, on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their results using their login credentials.

The result will display details such as marks obtained, GATE score, and qualifying status. The GATE 2026 scorecard will be valid for three years from the date of result declaration and can be used for higher education and job opportunities during this period.

GATE 2026 Qualifying Cut-Off Marks (Expected)

The final GATE 2026 cut-off marks will be released along with the results. Meanwhile, the expected cut-off range gives candidates a fair idea of the score required to qualify.

As per past trends, there is usually a gap of around 10–12% between General and OBC/EWS categories, while the difference for SC/ST/PwD candidates ranges between 30–35%. The cut-off may decrease by 1–3 marks if the paper is relatively difficult and increase by 3–5 marks in case of an easier paper.
