Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has declared the JEE Advanced 2026 result on June 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM IST. Candidates can now access their scorecards from the official website using their registration details. The result includes important information such as the All India Rank (AIR), subject-wise marks, total score, and qualifying status. With the results now available, the focus shifts to the next admission stage, as JoSAA counselling is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2026 for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes.

What Comes After the Result?

With the result now available, qualified candidates should prepare for JoSAA counselling, which is expected to begin in the first week of June. During counselling, candidates will be able to choose their preferred IITs, branches, and programs. Seat allotment will be conducted across multiple rounds based on rank, category, preferences, and seat availability.

Participating Institutes

All 23 IITs participate in the admission process through JoSAA counselling. In addition, institutions such as IISc Bengaluru and several other premier engineering institutes also accept JEE Advanced scores for selected undergraduate programs, offering candidates a wide range of admission opportunities.

Important Instructions

Candidates should download and save their scorecard immediately, verify all details carefully, and keep a printed copy for future reference. Since the counselling process will begin soon, applicants should also keep their academic certificates, category documents (if applicable), and identity proofs ready to avoid delays during admission formalities.

Note: If you have confirmation that the result was made available late on May 31, 2026, you can write:

“IIT Roorkee released the JEE Advanced 2026 result late on May 31, 2026, ahead of the previously announced schedule of June 1.”

Otherwise, avoid mentioning the early release and stick to the officially announced result date to prevent factual issues.
