IISM Mumbai Begins SSAT & SMAT 2026 Registrations

The IISM Mumbai has officially opened registrations for the Sports Science Admission Test (SSAT) 2026 and the Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT) 2026. The admissions will be conducted for UG, PG, and PGP courses under the Sports Management and Sports Science departments. The last date to submit the application form is March 23, 2026.

As part of the IISM Mumbai selection process, candidates will also be required to submit an Essay, Caselets, or Statement of Purpose (SOP) on March 26, 2026. The SSAT and SMAT entrance examinations are scheduled to be conducted on March 29, 2026.

The Stage 1 result will be declared on March 30, 2026, followed by the Personal Interview (PI) round on April 1, 2026. The Stage 2 result will be announced on April 3, 2026. Candidates who are shortlisted for admission must complete the fee payment by April 8, 2026, while document verification will be conducted on April 15, 2026.

IISM SMAT/SSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's Degree Eligibility

Bachelor of Sports Management: 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 40% in all the subjects.
Bachelor of Sports Science: 10+2 (Science) with a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Master's Degree Eligibility

Master of Sports Management: Graduation in any field with 40% marks in all the subjects.
Master of Sports Science:
- Graduation with a minimum of 40% marks in Life Science or Biological Science, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, any allied paramedical fields, BPED and MPED degrees
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science.
Post Graduate Program in Sports Management: Graduation in any field with 40% marks in all the subjects.
