JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 registration opens on June 1, 2026, at 10:00 IST and closes on June 2, 2026, at 17:00 IST. Only JEE Advanced-qualified candidates can register for the AAT exam scheduled for June 4, 2026.

JEE Advanced qualified candidates can now register for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026. The registration portal opens June 1, 2026 at 10:00 IST and closes June 2, 2026 at 17:00 IST on the official JEE Advanced website.
Only candidates who qualified in JEE Advanced 2026 are eligible to register for AAT. The test is mandatory for admission to B.Arch. programs at IIT BHU, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee. Passing AAT is a prerequisite for B.Arch. admission alongside meeting Class XII performance criteria.

How to Register for JEE Advanced AAT 2026?
- Candidates must visit the official JEE Advanced portal at jeeadv.ac.in to register for AAT.
- The registration process requires candidates to log in using their JEE Advanced credentials.
- Detailed instructions for registration will be available on the candidate portal during the registration window.
Candidates should ensure they have all required documents ready before starting the registration process. The registration is entirely online and must be completed within the specified time window. No late registrations will be accepted after June 2, 2026 at 17:00 IST.
JEE Advanced AAT 2026 Exam Format and Duration
The JEE Advanced AAT 2026 will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode for three hours. The exam tests candidates' aptitude in architecture through drawing, visualization, and spatial reasoning questions. Candidates must bring their admit card and valid photo identity to the examination centre.

Candidates who successfully register for AAT will receive their admit cards on the JEE Advanced portal. A printed copy of the admit card and a valid original photo identity card (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, or similar) are mandatory for appearing in the exam. Candidates arriving late will not be permitted to take the test.
What’s Next for Students
AAT results will be declared June 7, 2026 at 17:00 IST on the official website. Candidates who pass AAT will be eligible for B.Arch. seat allocation through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 process. The JoSAA counselling is tentatively scheduled to begin June 2, 2026.
Candidates must complete registration within the two-day window to avoid missing the opportunity. Only JEE Advanced-qualified candidates with valid ranks can register. The AAT exam is conducted in offline mode, and candidates must follow all examination centre guidelines strictly.
