GCAS UG Registration Portal Reopened; Apply by June 6

The Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) has reopened its registration portal for undergraduate programs on May 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Students seeking admission to UG courses across 15 state universities and their affiliated colleges must register through the official GCAS portal at gcas.gujgov.edu.in before the final deadline.

The registration process is free of cost and mandatory for all students applying to government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed colleges under the GCAS system. The last date to complete registration is June 6, 2026, after which no new applications will be accepted for the first round of admissions.

• Both OTPs must be entered along with the captcha code to successfully submit the registration form.
• Students must have the following documents ready before starting the registration process.
• Class 12th marksheet, Class 10th marksheet or attempt certificate, recent passport-size photograph, and scanned signature are mandatory uploads on the portal.

Additionally, students should have their APAAR ID (ABC ID) if available, as it streamlines the registration process. A valid mobile number and email ID that remain active throughout the admission process are essential for receiving OTPs and admission updates.

Universities Covered Under GCAS

Once registration is completed, students proceed to the choice-filling stage where they select their preferred colleges and courses in order of preference. The merit list is prepared based on qualifying marks, and students receive offers in multiple rounds based on their merit and choices.

Students who receive offers must confirm their admission and provide consent within the specified dates to secure their seat. Failure to confirm within the deadline may result in forfeiture of the offer, and the seat will be allocated to the next eligible candidate.
