The MHT CET registration 2026 is delayed, and there are no official updates regarding the registration. As per the initial reports, the MHT CET registration was supposed to start from January 1, but till now, there has been no official notification.

As per some local news reports, the state CET cell will release the MHT CET 2026 registration process as soon as the site maintenance process is over.

This year, Aadhaar and APAAR ID are mandatory for registration, and also authority has also revised the registration fee to 1300 INR for General and 1000 INR for the reserved category.

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the MHT CET 2026 exam:

• Nationality: Must be citizens of India
• MHT CET Age Limit: No age Limit
• Qualifying Exam:
  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology
  • 10+2 appearing students can also apply for the MHT CET 2026
• Must secure 45% ( 40% for the reserved category) in the above-mentioned exams.

How to Apply for MHT CET 2026?

Follow the steps mentioned below to apply online once the MHT CET 2026 forms are released:

• Go to the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org
• Find the “MHT CET 2026 Registration” link
• You need to register your account with your email ID and mobile number
• Complete the registration by filling out the application form with your personal as well as academic information.
• You need to choose your subject group
  • PCM ( Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), or
  • PCM ( Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
• Upload all the required documents, including Aadhaar card and APAAR ID
• Once all the documents, you need to pay the application fee using a credit card, UPI or net banking.
• After the payment, submit the form and print a copy of your submitted application.

Will MHT CET 2026 Registration be Extended?

As per the past year’s trend, it is expected that registration data may be extended, but candidates need to pay extra fees for it. Meaning, CET Cell Maharashtra is likely to provide extended time for MHT CET registration with a late fee of around 500 INR.
