I think people who work in the education sector are passionate about making a positive impact on society and on their students. My experience with the education sector as well as the institute is quite good and rewarding. Teaching or being in the education sector or in an institute helps you recognise young minds and train them for a better future. Imparting knowledge and curiosity, participating in shaping society, and being responsible for making positive change keep me connected with the education sector.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the student's skills or expose them to real-world challenges??
We have numerous extracurricular activities. Our sports activities, such as badminton, horseback riding, swimming pool, football, and cricket, help students enhance their leadership skills. We also have many cultural activities, such as music, poetry, dance, book reading, etc., where students can show their creativity and talents. Apart from sports and culture, we take a holistic approach to student development. We offer comprehensive skill development programs, training sessions, and conferences designed to equip students with essential life skills and provide them with a competitive edge in their academic and professional pursuits. In addition, we organize industrial visits, connecting students with real-world experiences and insights. These visits provide a practical understanding of their field of study and help them apply classroom knowledge to actual industry settings.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry-oriented?
Our approach to subjects involves collaborating with faculty, students, and industry participants. We do curriculum reviews from time to time so that our academics are up-to-date and aligned with the industry. We facilitate partnerships with industry to provide students with internship opportunities and ensure that the students have hands-on experience. Guest lectures, workshops, and skill development programs are integral parts of the curriculum. Organising regular industry visits is also part of the academic process so that students are equipped with the skills and knowledge that they will need in the future to stay relevant in the industry and make a seamless transition from academic to corporate.
How does the institute enhance the skills of the faculty and prepare them according to industry standards?
To support the professional development of our faculty members, we organise workshops, seminars, conferences, and training programs and encourage our faculty to stay updated with industry trends. Collaborating with industry research projects is another way we help faculty members enhance their skills. Our faculty also participates in the research and development work. We also encourage peer collaboration and mentoring programs to guide faculty members. By doing this, we ensure that there is continuous learning going on and help faculty remain up-to-date with the best practises of the industry.
What do you see as the greatest strengths of your institute?
Our students and curriculum are our greatest strengths. We are focused on the well-being and development of our students. Our commitment to personal growth, safety, academic success, and career readiness sets us apart and positions our institution as a place that supports and nurtures students.
