Dr. Renu Chaudhary has pursued her LL.B, LL.M Ph.d (MDU Rohtak). Her research interests are Environmental Law, Criminology, Indian Constitution, Human Rights, Administrative Law, Consumer protection law, Law of Torts. Dr. Renu Chaudhary is a lady with rich professional experience with a rare blend of academics and administration. She is a person with a positive attitude, full of boldness required for tough decision making, committed, compassionate, diligent and full of dedication for her work. She has a proven track-record of court appearances as an advocate, a judicial member, a teacher and an administrator. She has a rich experience of being a responsible founder member of two new Universities namely Baba Mast Nath and Gurugram University.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

In addition to teaching classes, I commonly advise students on their choice of courses or career paths, provide feedback on papers or projects, and help with student organizations or extracurricular activities. Apart from teaching, it's my responsibility to help them if they face any difficulty in their lives and to be a mentor and a support for them.

How do you make sure that strict rules are implemented in the college?

We have a strict system to monitor attendance, an anti-ragging cell, a sexual harassment committee, a dress code, and a disciplinary committee to take actions as and when necessary. I have one golden rule: "Have fun, but adhere to the rules". We also alert parents and guardians in case of any mishap on the part of the students.

How do you help the students in maintaining discipline within the university?

The following rules help us maintain discipline within the university:

Having engaging and regular classes so that students are more interested in attending classes

Students failing to meet the attendance prerequisite will not be eligible for certification at the end of the program.

Ragging in any form is strictly forbidden by law, and the university ensures the same by having an anti-ragging committee.

To regulate discipline and uphold decorum, a prescribed dress code and department-wise uniform are to be observed by students, which requires that they be formally dressed while on campus.

Students are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner that befits the image and standing of the university.

The student should reach the university in time and attend the lecture as per the timetable given to them. The student should complete all the term work or assignments as per schedule.

Students are answerable to authorities for any misconduct.

Students should park their vehicles only in the specified area.

Any advice or suggestions that you would like to give to the current youth?

Avoid being part of the crowd. Without being a loner, you can separate yourself from the group of people who are not involved in positive things and still have a social life. Avoid following popular trends that could lead to a high-risk lifestyle, such as becoming so obsessed with materialism that you will engage in illegal activities to obtain certain things.
