Do you feel NorthCap University has prepared you to enter the workforce?
NCU has played a pivotal role in preparing me to enter my professional life. Through the education provided by my professors, I have not only gained knowledge but also the skills that a corporate lawyer requires. During my five years at NCU, it provided me with academic as well as extra-curricular opportunities, which served as a building block in the development of the necessary professional skills.
According to you, to what extent does the reputation of NorthCap matter once you enter the workforce?
During the initial years of one’s professional life, the reputation and name of their university do matter. Even while applying for a job, employers screen CVs on the basis of multiple factors, which also include the name and repute of the candidate’s university. Therefore, NCU’s high reputation puts all its students in the front seat at the time of applying for jobs or during the initial years of their professional careers.
What is your opinion about the Campus and extracurricular activities and their value after leaving the college?
Extracurricular activities help a student develop the soft skills (such as speaking skills, leadership skills, teamwork skills, building confidence, handling pressure, etc.) that students require to shape their professional careers. Therefore, all students must engage themselves in extracurricular activities so that they can succeed in their professional lives.

What makes NorthCap an ideal choice for students?
NCU is one of India’s premier private universities. Along with the required knowledge, it also imparts the required skills, which help all students succeed in their professional lives. The courses at NCU are designed in such a manner that students get academic as well as professional experience during their NCU years. It also encourages its students to participate in various events, whether nationally or internationally. All this helps in the all-round growth of a student. NCU is located in the professional hub of India, in Gurugram’s city centre, which is well connected. This provides students with an edge over students from other Indian universities, as many leading organisations have their offices in the NCR and students can benefit by interning at such organisations without travelling to another city.
How would you rate the placement activities at NorthCap?
NCU has one of the best placement departments amongst universities in North India. It has collaborations with various national and international organisations. Many of the NCU alumni are already working in these organisations. NCU frequently organises lectures, mock placement drives and counselling sessions with all such alumni and other industry leaders, which helps students prepare for their “D Day."
How would you rate the exposure provided to students by NorthCap?
NCU offers wholesome exposure to its students. From the first year itself, students are provided with the platform to excel in academics as well as extra-curricular activities. I was in the third month of my first semester when I was selected to represent the university in a United Nations Moot Court competition. Due to events and competitions like these, students are able to develop confidence and knowledge at such an early stage. They are not hesitant or under-confident once they enter into their professional lives.
