Review of The Northcap University

Hygeine washrooms is what I like...it is a clean college..
It looks pretty as it is well decorated with flowers on the entry .

Dislikes

First the fees is tooo high for this college. placement is also very low through college what I have heard from the seniors.
If we talk about fests or any event they are very bad every year.only once a year momentum happens and for that too the singers who are invited are not so popular. In college items that we get to eat are too expensive.Nad not other major event happen
they have even started that we write every assignment and every lab work part.i feel it's increasing our workload unnecessary and we don't get time to focus on other things.going to college is not my favourite not a place where I feel like going...

Admission:

I applied for IPU but my family didn't wait for the results from that college that am I selected or not. other students of my age were getting admissios so they wanted me to also get admitted as soon as possible. They also didn't want that I stay away from home so this was the closest college and in gurgaon it is better than any other college. so I tried here I and I got easily admitted. this was actually not ony list but here I am. I had a JEE score of 70 percentile and with this I got my admission letter. they also have a college exam who don't have a JEE score...they need to do a paper made by college and if they pass then they get admission too.

Inside the northcap university- the real deal

Likes

Curriculum is okayish but the faculty is nice very helpful and knowledgeable
The campus is great good infrastructure very lively events keep happening there are various clubs and societies to join
The crowd is good obviously there are students who keep getting into trouble but overall good quality students

Dislikes

They are very strict about attendance min 70 perc is required and dont even give medical leaves
The fees is quite high not worth what they are offering but the cheapest in the area soo
Zero campus placements they started mca just a year back in their college the first batch of mca will pass out this year only so no exact data on placements for mca students

Admission:

I applied only to direct admission colleges i didn't really apply to any but yeah considered the ones near my place like kr manglam and gd goenka, i also thought about amity or bennet which are in noida but i didn't apply to them as they were far and gd goenka and kr manglam were charging more fees . Northcap was the cheapest and the nearest so i applied to this college only. I just filled the admissions form online paid the fees and got admitted as i said its a direct admission college so they take in just anybody but still my class's strength is only 27 lol not a very good college overall but the cheapest sooo. But if anyone can pay extra then i would suggest amity over it . Its better in study aspect in all delhi ncr

Good infrastructure of the college and all facilities
All the cafes and cafetarias are good with good food
Faculties are well behaved and are experienced in their fields

Dislikes

There is so much of attendance issues ..
Some teachers of the college are rude but its ok
Some subjects are time wasting as they are not required to study

Admission:

I chose this college as the infrastructure and the facilities they were providing were better than all other colleges also the fees as compared to other colleges were less.the faculties were also goof and that was the reason to choose this college

Unveiling Northcap University: A Complete Experience

Likes

Modern infrastructure- University is equipped with modern facilities like classroom and labs which are carefully maintained by the assistant teacher in the labs
Environment- I like the environment of the university with vast diversity in the campus
Fests- I like the annual fest which held every year in October and November as momentum

Dislikes

Traffic jam near the college which is very irritating and frustrating
Violence outside the university students make unnecessary fights
Strict rules for students but not for teachers in this university there are strict rules for students but there is no rule for the teachers

Admission:

When I was deciding on colleges, I applied for manipal university, amity university and shiv nadar among others. I was fortunate to secure admissions from manipal and amity but ultimately decided on The Northcap University. What set Northcap apart was its strong academic focus, especially in my chosen field, and its location in gurugram- a thriving hub for internships, industry exposure and career opportunities.The university's consistent placement record , state of the art infrastructure and holistic approach to education made it the ideal choice. While the other colleges had their strengths, Northcap stood out of aligning perfectly with my academic and proffesional aspirants. I did face rejections from a couple of institutions, mainly due to high competition and limited seats. Some colleges had slightly higher cutoffs than my entrance exam scores and in other cases, I could have prepared better for their selection processes. These experiences were humbling and taught me the importance of resilience and strategic preparation. Looking back, these challenges helped me appreciate the opportunity I had at the university even more. The admission process was smooth and transparent .For undergraduate programs , a 50%-60% score in 12th grade is required, along with exams like JEE mains or CUET. The process involved online application , document submission and counselling sessions. These sessions were insightful, helping me explore program options and career paths. The supportive staff and structured approach made the experience seamless.

Admission:

For its good placement but i want admission in du but i don't get it that's why i choose private college and i think it is a good college so i choose it . Admission process is to visit their site and apply then their faculty will call you for further information

My college experience

Likes

The canteen is good and the atmosphere too
Faculty is very kind and helpful and good teaching
Sports facilities are very good and Library too

Dislikes

CS hours is a big headache in the university
We have to complete cs hours 140 hours per year
Students have a lot of pressure of cs hours and assignment

Admission:

I first thought about Amity University and delhi University but couldn't get the admission because of the CUET scores and very high cutoff so ny relatives suggested ne this college and I researched for it well and decided to opt for northcap university

Security of college is very good plenty of security guards are there in the college
Strictness about studies and attendance minimum 70%
Club activity is also very promoted in college

Dislikes

Attendance sometimes geniune medical cases are also declined
Campus area is too small no hostel is there
Only 10 mins are there to mark your attendance

1. This is intercity means not out every other college is out of cities 2. College locations all the extra curillar are near the college 3. Acedamics are very good 4. Club activities are very good in the college

Likes

Campus is well maintained and very hygienic
The cafeteria is very good varieties of food is available and not that much costly
Infrastructure is best and large campus area

Dislikes

You have to strictly maintain a fix percentage attendance
Attendance punch time is limited and if you are late you will be marked absent
On some days there is very hectic schedule

Admission:

My college provides a variety of opportunities for every course available and it has nice infrastructure and more opportunities than others and will help a lot in academics improvement. The number of events are conducted are also great

The Northcap University

Likes

There are a lot of clubs and societies and we can be a part of them.
There are some changes being made to improve the placements
Slowly the sports culture in this college is also improving

Dislikes

There is a huge lack of freedom and the dean's office will do anything and everything to make your life tough
If you get detained/failed in a subject, you will have to pay extra fees
The teachers misuse their power a lot and are biased a lot of the times and do not provide time for co curricular which helps in personality development

Admission:

I applied to DTU and BITS Pilani and my admission was confirmed there as well. I attended one year at DTU but I left it because I cleared my SSB for armed forces and joined the Naval Academy but had to leave because of injuries and by the time I cam out, admissions were closed everywhere except this college, so I got in. To get admission here, you just have to have given JEE and cleared 12th boards.
