Dr. Om Prakash Mehta is the Registrar of Sai Nath University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA in Marketing. Besides clearing the NET three times, he also holds a Masters in Commerce degree and a PhD in Commerce. Dr. Mehta has 15 years of experience in teaching, administration and research.

What do you think should be the university's top priority over the next 10 years?

Since its establishment in 2012, Sai Nath University's top priority has been to provide the best quality education to its students and society. They have achieved this by offering a wide range of job-oriented courses such as BA LLB, LLB, BSc LLB, B.Ed., M.Ed., integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., D.El.Ed., ANM, GNM, BSc Nursing, BSc Agriculture, Computer course, Management course, polytechnic course, and BP.Ed. course. We do have plans to expand our course offerings in the future. Additionally, we are working towards achieving NAAC grading A in the coming years. Our priority is to support our students and help them achieve their goals by providing the best possible education.

Our focus is to provide for and make our students employable in the market. To achieve this, we are always ready to support, guide, and nurture our students. We have a qualified and experienced faculty team that is dedicated to resolving any problems or doubts students may have. Additionally, we emphasise the overall development of our students and enhance their skills to make them more employable in the future. Sai Nath University has several key strengths. We have a lavish infrastructure and a student-friendly environment that promotes a conducive learning atmosphere. Our focus is on the overall development of our students, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in their careers. What are the types of courses offered by the university to the students?

We offer a wide range of courses that generate employment opportunities. In the law department, we have BA LLB, LLB, and B.Sc. LLB. The education department offers B.Ed., M.Ed., integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., and D.El.Ed. The nursing department provides ANM, GNM, and BSc nursing courses. We also offer BSc in Agriculture, Computer, Management, Polytechnic, and BP.Ed. courses. All our courses are job-oriented, and we strive to help our students achieve their goals and serve society. In the coming years, the university aims to introduce an MBBS course to produce doctors who can serve society. Additionally, they are striving to achieve an NAAC grade of A, indicating their commitment to providing excellent support to students and helping them achieve their goals.

How were the university’s industrial relationship and can you highlight the placement statistics of the university?

Nowadays, we notice that students are coming with the intention to get placed in a good company with a good package. To fulfil this goal, we provide extensive training to our students through workshops, internships, and training programs. We have signed more than 40 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with different companies, enabling our students to benefit from industry collaborations. For instance, our collaboration with Maruti Suzuki offers industrial training and experience, making our students industry-ready. Additionally, we have tie-ups with various hospitals, law firms, NGOs, and Kisan Vikash Yojana for specific programs, ensuring our students receive practical exposure in their respective fields. We also organise seminars and invite HR executives and industry experts on a regular basis to provide valuable insights to our students.

By actively addressing these concerns, the university strives to establish a supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to approach faculty members without hesitation. Furthermore, I emphasise the importance of informal gatherings, active participation in student activities, and being readily accessible for one-on-one discussions as effective measures to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
